 helicopter reportedly stolen and flown by a police officer was seen dropping grenades on to the supreme court and the interior ministry. Gunfire could also be heard during the attack, which was condemned by President Nicolás Maduro in a televised address. The police officer involved later released a video statement in which he was flanked by four heavily armed men.

Según se informa, un helicóptero robado y volado por un oficial de policía arrojó granadas a la Corte Suprema y al Ministerio del Interior. Los disparos también pudieron ser escuchados durante el ataque, que fue condenado por el presidente Nicolás Maduro en un discurso televisado. El policía involucrado más tarde lanzó un video en el que estaba flanqueado por cuatro hombres fuertemente armados.
